Our Circulation
Where  *  When  *  How
Christian Monthly serves Linn and Benton counties in the Mid-Willamette valley of Oregon. Our print edition is a newspaper distributed two days before the first Sunday of every month, and we are FREE OF CHARGE at over 350 locations, though subscriptions are available.

Our Mission
Our mission field is the current Christian community and beyond that, the seeker that may be curious or considering belief and, our function is to provide media tools that affect both these groups for Christ.

Core Beliefs Defining The Community We Serve
We serve Christians currently believing or, those considering belief:

1. That the Bible is the infallible Word of God; our final authority in belief and practice.
2. In the triune God as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, that Jesus is fully God and fully human.
3. In the acts of Creation, Original Sin, the Virginal Birth of Jesus the Messiah and, the literal death of Jesus on the cross for our sins and His actual resurrection.
4. In eternal salvation through Christ.

Supporters & Affiliations
Our sole means of support comes from subscribers, individual contributors and advertisers.

We are entirely non-denominational and are unaffiliated with any denomination or church.

Editorial Policies
For materials generated by our own staff or submitted from outside our staff:

Christian Monthly is dedicated to a non-denominational position free of any doctrinal advocacy beyond that stated in our Mission Statement and Core Beliefs. Likewise, we will take no political positions. Also, we recognize that a full expression of one’s faith may include such doctrine or positions and therefore we will consider materials containing these so long as such are not the central focus of the material and not in conflict with our Mission Statement and Core Beliefs.

Submissions become the property of Christian Monthly upon submission and may be edited for clarity, length or policy compliance. 

If a submission is rejected by an Editor, the party submitting may request the material be considered by the full Editorial Staff; in these instances a decision will generally come within 60 days of the request for full staff review.

Submissions are best made with content fully formatted into the body of an e-mail and with photos attached as jpeg or preferably a pdf.

Advertising Standards
Advertising cannot directly counter our Mission Statement or Core Beliefs and must also be acceptable for a general readership.

We reserve the right to refuse any advertising material for any reason, or alternately, to refuse advertising materials without cause.

Complaints concerning any particular ad or advertiser will be turned over to the Editorial Staff which may choose to allow the ad or not at its own discretion by a simple majority vote. The Editorial Staff may also on its own motion form a complaint concerning an ad.
